Small Bright fun Kitchen
This kitchen was not only old, dark, and dated, but it also offered no place to sit and had very little storage. The challenge in correcting this is that its open concept meant very few walls on which to mount cabinets.
The space needed to be brighter and more functional. Using lots of white helped open up the whole area while deep yellow upper cabinets brought the sunshine inside. White quartz counters, a white penny tile backsplash, and all-white lower cabinetry not only created a more spacious feel but also provided ample storage with both closed cabinets and open shelving. Opposite the cooking area, shallow lower cabinets allowed for an overhang to add a dining bar as well as extra storage. This project just goes to show that a small renovation can have a big impact.
