PROJECT GOAL
The objective of this project was to reimagine Neoen’s Canadian headquarters in Toronto to reflect the company’s brand, values, and global identity within a new office environment. The space needed to function as a welcoming home base for international visitors while supporting round-the-clock collaboration through virtual meetings across time zones. As more team members returned to the office, the design also aimed to foster connection, collaboration, and a stronger internal community.
Flexibility
Flexibility was central to the design strategy, with multi-purpose spaces woven throughout the office to support a range of work styles and activities. A generous kitchen and communal table encourage both informal standing conversations and relaxed lunch gatherings, while movable soft seating allows for multiple configurations. This adaptable layout ensures the space can evolve alongside the needs of the team.
Digital Infrastructure
Robust digital infrastructure was a top priority. A variety of dedicated spaces for virtual meetings were thoughtfully integrated throughout the office, ranging from sound-isolated pods and small focus rooms to larger meeting spaces. This layered approach ensures employees can seamlessly transition between private calls, team meetings, and global collaboration without disrupting the overall workplace environment.
Project Summary
Neoen’s Toronto headquarters was designed to reflect the company’s leadership in renewable energy while supporting a highly connected, global workforce. Studio Forma created a workplace that balances brand expression with functionality, welcoming international visitors while enabling seamless digital collaboration across continents and time zones.
