Reimagining a Familiar Space with a Distinct New Identity
Studio Forma Interior Design was engaged to transform an office we had originally designed years prior, this time for Commport Communications. The challenge was both unique and inspiring. We were tasked with delivering a completely new Office Interior Design experience within an existing footprint, previously tailored to another organization.
The objective was ambitious yet strategic. Create an environment that fully reflects Commport’s brand, culture, and operational needs while minimizing construction disruption. The result is a workplace that feels entirely new, despite thoughtful restraint in structural modifications.

A Strategic Reinvention of Office Design
This project stands apart in our portfolio. Designing a space for a second time requires both creativity and discipline. Rather than approaching the layout from a blank slate, we carefully evaluated what could be preserved and what needed refinement to support Commport’s workflow and corporate identity.
Through intentional office design decisions, we enhanced spatial flow, optimized departmental adjacencies, and introduced new collaborative and private work areas. The planning was guided by efficiency, sustainability, and our commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
The transformation demonstrates how impactful Office Interior Design can be when driven by vision rather than demolition. Construction changes were minimal, yet the visual and experiential shift is remarkable.
Elevated Office Furniture and Material Expression
A key component of this redesign was the thoughtful selection of Office Furniture. We introduced ergonomic task seating, height-adjustable workstations, and refined executive furnishings that immediately distinguish the space from its previous iteration. Private offices were designed with simplicity and sophistication in mind. Glass fronts maintain transparency and access to natural light, while carefully curated furnishings reinforce comfort and professionalism.
Brand Integration with Minimal Disruption
Commport’s brand identity is expressed through strategic use of colour, materiality, and architectural accents. Deep blues, warm wood textures, and modern lighting features establish a strong visual language that differentiates the space entirely from its former design. What makes this project exceptional is that despite minimal construction changes, the finished environment is virtually unrecognizable from its previous version. This speaks to the power of innovative Office Interior Design and a collaborative process rooted in precision.
Creative Approach
In the lunchroom, Studio Forma employed creative flooring and wall paint designs to fashion a cozy lounge area, evoking a sense of nature indoors. Custom millwork, adorned with murals echoing the outdoors, not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also fostered collaboration among team members, creating a welcoming and conducive environment for shared ideas and innovation.
